SoC Virtualization Infrastructure

The school of computing installed a new set of 8 servers in a new Proxmox Cluster during the 2021-2022 school year:

  • Networking: 2 x 10 Gb ports + 2 x 1 Gb ports
  • Storage: 72 TB of disk space in addition to the 96 TB of SAN disk space that we already have.
    • 8 TB of NVMe (1 TB per host)
    • 64 TB of SATA. 1 Per Host: 8 Seagate IronWolf 8 TB NAS / 256 MB Cache / SATA 6 Gb/s 7200 RPM (ST8000VNZ04/N0004)

    • 64 TB of SAN storage
      • Promise Vess R2600ti
