The first step is to install a printer on your server. 1. Using CPTR230A and the Print Console install the emblabprinter.cs.southern.edu printer on your server (You can use nslookup to find the IP address - 2023: we will use 10.10.14.0/22 as the printer). 1. Add the Print and Document Services role to your CPTR230A server 1. Open Print Management and find CPTR230A under print servers 1. Right Click CPTR230A, and select add printer 1. Add a TCP/IP ... 1. Input the IP address for [IP given in class].cs.southern.edu, and click next 1. Make sure it is shared with a reasonable name and click next 1. Make sure you share the printer on the server (there is a check box for this when you create it). 1. Create an organizational unit called "clients" and place your windows 11 machine in it. (Done in AD Users and Computers) 1. Create a GPO that will apply to your windows 11 machine "Computer" that deploys the printer you created and link it to the OU created above. 1.
